On July 21 and 28, 2025, the Swadaya Dian Khatulistiwa Foundation (YSDK) team attended village consultation sessions in Tamong Village and Hli Buei Village for the formal adoption of the DRPPA Village Regulation. This consultation serves as a follow-up action plan and reflects the shared commitment of both village governments and YSDK gender focal points to accommodate the previously formulated Gender Strategic Needs (KBSG).
This agenda also served as an opportunity to strengthen the capacity of YSDKโs gender focal points in fulfilling their roles at the village level, particularly in advocating for gender equality and justice.
ย
It is hoped that other villages will be inspired and soon follow in formulating their own DRPPA regulations, so that safer and more inclusive environments can be created for everyone including pregnant women, mothers, and both girls and boys, wherever they may be.
ย
Let us continue to advocate for villages that are resilient, inclusive, and responsive to the rights of women and children.
