The GERAKDAMPAK ACADEMY Youth Bootcamp (Intensive Course) was successfully held for 5 days and 4 nights, from October 13 to 17, 2025, at the Reclamation Demonstration Plot of Former Illegal Gold Mining Land (PETI), Goa Boma Village, Monterado District, Bengkayang Regency.
This activity is the result of collaboration between the Indika Foundation, the Swadaya Dian Khatulistiwa Foundation (YSDK), and the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education (SATGAS PPKPT) at Tanjungpura University.
A total of 19 participants were selected to take part in this activity, consisting of one local youth from Goa Boma Village and 18 young men and women from various regions in West Kalimantan. They were selected through a rigorous selection process from 106 initial applicants, including essay selection and in-depth interactive discussions.

- – Mrs. Francisca Cynthia Ento, S.P., M.M. – Head of the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Agency (DISPORAPAR) of Bengkayang Regency









The event was officially opened by Mrs. Francisca Cynthia Ento, S.P., M.M., followed by tree planting in the PETI Reclamation Demonstration Plot area.
During the event, participants attended various inspiring learning materials and sessions.
Mrs. Emilya Kalsum, S.T., M.T., IAI, IPM opened with a presentation on Basic Understanding of Sex, Gender, and Patriarchy in the context of gender equality and justice.
This was followed by Ms. Rezky Apriliantini and Mr. Kevin, who presented topics such as Appreciating Togetherness, Taking Action, Regulating Emotions, Building Compassion, Being Open-Minded, Knowing Yourself, Integrity, and developing Action Plans to be implemented by the participants.











The closing ceremony consisted of a bonfire, sharing messages and impressions, and exchanging gifts among participants, marking the end of a meaningful fellowship journey.
Through GERAKDAMPAK ACADEMY, participants are expected to continue learning, developing, and growing together in fostering the values of equitable leadership, gender equality, solidarity, and peace.
While at the Reclamation Demonstration Plot, they interacted directly with nature and the community, learning that social change arises from reflection, collaboration, and empathy.
