Tamong, March 24, 2025 – The SADAR ALAM ProKlim Group of Tamong Village conducted a dissemination of the results from the Participatory Assessment of Climate Disaster and Risk (PACDR) at the Siding Subdistrict Office. The activity was attended by the Head of Siding Subdistrict and staff, representatives from technical agencies (DP3, PRPLH, PUPR, PMD, BPBD), agricultural extension officers, village facilitators, village government officials, and local community members.
The event began with a prayer and the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, followed by a welcome address from the Swadaya Dian Khatulistiwa Foundation (YSDK), and was officially opened by the Head of Siding Subdistrict. This dissemination serves as part of a collective effort to strengthen community resilience against disaster and climate change risks.

The previously conducted PACDR workshop produced a number of strategies for landslide disaster mitigation and the strengthening of sustainable agriculture. The Agriculture Office encouraged a transition from shifting cultivation practices to permanent farming, as well as the utilization of local resources to support food security. The Environment Office emphasized the importance of the Climate Village Program (ProKlim), waste management, and emission reduction. Meanwhile, the Community and Village Empowerment Office (PMD) proposed the development of irrigation and terracing infrastructure, as well as the establishment of village-based disaster response groups.
The Tamong Village Government has issued a Decree (SK) establishing the SADAR ALAM Group as part of the village ProKlim structure and plans to issue a Village Regulation (Perdes) on DRPPA in May 2025. Budget support and local capacity strengthening remain key factors in ensuring the sustainability of this program.
Through close collaboration between the government, technical agencies, the community, and supporting organizations, Tamong Village continues to advance as an adaptive village that is climate-resilient and collectively prepared to face disaster risks.
