Collaboration between YSDK and Goa Boma Village Results in National Proklim Award

YSDK is proud and appreciates the award from the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia to the Head of Goa Boma Village, the Darling Proklim Working Group and the Goa Boma Community in general in the form of the National Proklim Main Category Trophy. Goa Boma Village is a YSDK assisted village since 2021 which has actively carried out local activities to respond to the global challenges of climate change. Various series of activities were facilitated, starting with the Participatory Assessment of Climate and Disaster Risks or PACDR as a participatory assessment tool by the community regarding hazards, vulnerabilities and local mitigation strategies. To oversee its continuation, the Goa Boma Village Head formed the Darling or Environmentally Aware Working Group (Pokja) with various activities such as waste management, processing animal waste (cattle) into fertilizer, land improvement or returning the function of former illegal gold mining land based on cattle. Once again, congratulations to Mr. Amdan S.Pd - Head of Goa Boma Village, the Darling Proklim Working Group and the community. We are waiting for the next action towards the National Level True Proklim Village.
