This women's discussion activity is a continuation of the research activities conducted in 2023 on women's empowerment and gender equality and justice in 12 villages from the 3 sub-districts mentioned above.
To motivate women, young people and people with disabilities to dare to speak and express strategic needs that may not have been met so far, this Rembuk Perempuan activity becomes a discussion room as well as a forum to agree on proposals to the village government to be accommodated in the RKPDes and APBDes.

In carrying out activities for a whole month by traveling around all these villages with hostile road and weather infrastructure conditions, YSDK collaborated with the Bengkayang Regency Government through the Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in the context of Women and Child Protection (PPA), Bengkayang Shanti Bhuana Institute (ISB) and Village-level gender cadres.
This activity is not only carried out once but will still be continued with the next rebuk-rembuk, for example the preparation of an activity proposal as a result of work that will be proposed to the village and district governments as well as other parties who want to contribute to the increasement of the role of women, equality and gender justice within the framework of Tangguh Iklim, Women and Child Friendly Village.
